The corporate purpose of the enterprise is the production and the distribution of optoelectronic components.

The data is collected, processed and used in the pursuit of the corporate purpose mentioned above.
 
5. Description of the group of persons affected and relevant data or data categories:
Customer data (name, address, order data if necessary), employee data (name, address) as well as data for suppliers (name, address), wherever these are needed to fulfil the purpose named in 4.
 
6. Recipient or categories of recipients to whom the data may be disclosed:
Public offices in the event of overriding statutory provisions, external contractors according to §11 BDSG as well as external offices, internal VS Optoelectronic to fulfil the purposes named in 4. Scheduled dates for the deletion of the data: the legislative bodies have decreed various duties to keep and retain records as well as corresponding deadlines. On expiry of these deadlines the corresponding data is routinely deleted unless it is needed to fulfil a contract. If data is not affected by this it will be deleted when the purposes named in 5. cease to exit.
 
8. Planned data transfer to third countries:
Customer data, employee data and data for suppliers will be transferred to the group headquarters of the Vossloh-Schwabe group for processing wherever permissible and necessary within the scope of the purpose named in 5. VS Optoelectronic must take suitable precautions to ensure that the data is protected to the same extent.
