The GreenLight-Programme is used to improve the power efficiency of the illumination of private and public organizations and companies. The participants commit themselves to modernize illumination whereever energy savings justify the investment and integrate efficient, easily available illumination systems into new buildings.

The target of this programme is to reduce energy consumption of outdoor lighting and internal illumination of commercial and public companies within Europe. This is an essential contribution to achieve the aim of the European community for lowering the CO2-emissions.

VS Optoelectronic will again be presenting its high-performance LED innovations for the lighting components market at this year’s electronica trade fair in Munich. In our capacity as the European distribution partner of Cree Inc., a US-American manufacturer, we will also be featuring their brand new XLamp™ XP-E and XP-C LEDs, which are set to redefine the standard for general lighting applications. The new LEDs come in the smallest casing dimensions for general lighting purposes currently available on the market.

The multi-chip XLamp™ MC-E retains the same 7 mm x 9 mm footprint as Cree’s existing XLamp™ XR-family LEDs, but provides four times the light output of the existing XR-E, thus making it the highest lumen output for a package of its size.

VS Optoelectronic’s team of LED specialists will be on hand in hall A3 at stand 575 to demonstrate product innovations and find individual solutions to suit your specific needs. Whether you require individual components or complete lighting systems, VS Optoelectronic is sure to have the right solution for any application.

“Light is of elementary importance for humanity”, said Wolfgang Dik, ambassador of the German embassy in Moscow. This is also noticeable in the Russian economy. The continuous boom in the lighting branch will continue in the future, together with the high building activity in the largest state of the world.
No residential houses, factories or offices can be constructed without lighting.

In spite of the revitalization of Russian production, the increasing demand in the Russian Federation cannot meet the requirements without relying on.
To fully realize the huge market potential, Vossloh-Schwabe exhibited at the 13th international trade fair for lighting, lighting technology and intelligent building technology from November 27. to 30., 2007 in Moscow.

All VS components were shown on current sample boards in Russian language on the 36qm stand. The fair attendance was a cooperation of VS and our authorized distributor Terna Lighting.
